Berth Your Boat

It's simple to arrange a berth for your boat at Caley Marina in Inverness.  With modern pontoons and onshore storage space available, there's an option to suit you.

Why you should berth at Caley Marina

  • Modern pontoon fingers
  • Fully serviced with electricity and water supply
  • Your vessel can be stored on cradles with mast up
  • Sheltered site

Caley Marina is situated on the north end of the Caledonian Canal, an inland waterway connecting the Moray Firth (and so the North Sea) to the West Coast of Scotland.  The canal allows you to travel the length of the Great Glen from Fort William to Inverness, sailing along Loch Ness.

This means you can have a berth that gives you access to inshore, offshore and inland waters all around the North coast of Scotland.  With the added attraction of the wide range of marine engineering, maintenance and support services you can get from Caley Marina - right next to your berth!

Please note that boats with a berth at Caley Marina will be required to purchase a Scottish Canals Transit Licence or a special Long Term Licence to travel on the waterway. A Scottish Canals Long Term Licence is only valid provided that a berthing contract, of at least three months, with either Caley Marina or Scottish Canals, is in force at the time of travel. (Contact Scottish Canals on 01463 725500)
