Boat Servicing
We always use genuine manufacturer parts to service boats, providing the guarantee of quality parts and customer peace of mind – quality parts allied to our expertise delivers the double assurance of a high performance result.
Servicing can be carried out at our workshop – all you have to do is drop the vessel/engine off; alternatively, we’re happy to conduct servicing off-site at a mutually agreed location.
With prior arrangement, customers can request a “same day” service if they need a fast turnaround. Contact us to discuss your servicing needs, and we’ll find a workable solution.
We also provide a winterising service for your engine and boat at the end of the season. This can include various cleaning, maintenance and condition checks, such as draining all water systems and making sure vital systems are protected. We can also check over engines and prepare them for winter with additional antifreeze, and make sure any exposed areas are protected during the out of season period.

Our Workshop
We run two large workshops at Caley Marina. These are fully equipped to ensure our team of experienced engineers have the space, tools and environment to undertake the majority of marine based work.
We are main dealers in the North of Scotland for Yamaha Outboards and Volvo Penta marine engines and generators. Working closely with both Yamaha and Volvo Penta, we have both capacity and ability to provide first class servicing and, through each company’s ongoing training programme, we are up to date with current information, knowledge and advice.
Our 60-ton crane can lift up to 20 tonnes at a maximum of 15 meters, giving us the capability to lift boats in and out of the water. The crane can also be used to lift and hold boats in the hoist to perform smaller jobs, or to crane boats onto cradles for longer periods of time.
Our workshops operate to the highest standards of safety, requiring annual assessment and checks by our Health and Safety subcontractors.

Boat Building
Boat Building has been carried out on site at Caley Marina since the early 1970s and we still provide full builds for customers. From the bare boat hull arriving at the workshop to the handover to the customer, we can do anything asked of us!
Our boat building incorporates the following services: boat fit outs, engine installations, hydraulic steering systems, electronics and radar fitting, mast wiring and lighting, windscreen and glass replacement, upholstery and seating, and crewlift installations.
